OpenQuote 1.0 – The New Open Source Insurance Quotation System

Applied Industrial Logic announced today the release of OpenQuote version 1.0. OpenQuote is open source software designed to help reduce both the time to market and costs of web enabling quotations for insurance products and schemes. The software allows insurers, brokers and agents to efficiently release and maintain their products by configuring risk capture, risk assessment and rating rules.
Licence and Use Without Charge
Being open source means there are no charges to licence and use OpenQuote. It can be downloaded for no fee by going to the OpenQuote website download page, no registration is required. Download from:

Interest
Prior to this full release, in the project's first few months early beta versions of OpenQuote have enjoyed well over 100 downloads. Interest has continued to grow in the software as development has progressed.

Future
Versions 1.1 and 2.0 of OpenQuote are currently in development, these versions will build out and improve the broker support functionality and the product development toolset.
