MultiQuote Goes Open Source

Open Source (OSI) LogoApplied Industrial Logic (AIL) today announced that its insurance product MultiQuote is to be donated to the open source community. AIL will play an active role and dedicate their entire team to the continued development of this software.

The system is designed to provide a quotation solution to the insurance industry for delivering productised lines of business to market using the web.

As part of this transition to open source the product is being appropriately renamed OpenQuote.

AIL will concentrate its commercial side on offering enterprise support for OpenQuote, different levels of support will be available designed to suit different types of customer requirements.
