Applied Industrial Logic (AIL) was formed in 2002 by an established team with the intention of developing IT solutions for the insurance market.

The founders of AIL have worked successfully within the IT industry as a team, providing professional experience in software development to a variety of organisations. The majority of our work has been in the insurance industry, however we have also covered areas as diverse as aircraft landing systems, royalty accounting applications, and core sample analysis tools for the mining industry.

Over the past few years the team have been working in the area of eBusiness component based development for the insurance industry as part of an independent software vendor (ISV). The technology developed by the team has been installed in a number of major insurance companies, and the interest generated by this lead to the acquisition of the ISV by a major corporate organisation.

Following from this success, the team decided to put their efforts into building a stable long-term business venture based on the expertise gained.
